On November 3, 2000, I embarked on a challenging journey, bravely crossing a muddy road—the only path to Bugnay, Valderrama, Antique, Region 6! The squishy trek was a wild mix of excitement and laughter, perfectly capturing the thrill of exploration. When my sister, a dedicated nurse, spotted this picture, she couldn’t resist giving me a playful reprimand for diving into such a muddy escapade. But honestly, who can resist the call of adventure? Sometimes you’ve just got to embrace the mess for the sheer joy of discovery! And guess what? It was during this journey that I was treated to a tear-jerking rendition of one of my favorites in my collection, “Igsuun,” a beautiful song in the Kinaray-a language performed by a talented 10-year-old.
