From March 16 to 19, 2023, I had the joy of sharing my passions with like-minded music educators at the Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE) National Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. My workshops focused on “Celebrating Diversity through Music” and “Philippine Folk Games for Teaching.” Together, we played, sang, and danced to multicultural songs and games, truly embracing and celebrating our diversity! One of the materials that participants enjoyed is a Japanese Drawing Song which I am posting as a sample lesson on this website.
